Promoted from Junior Penetration Tester in June 2026. The day-to-day work is largely the same, but I now operate with more autonomy and take on more responsibility for projects as my expertise has grown. This includes:
- Conducting penetration tests and red team assessments across web applications, infrastructure, internal networks, and physical environments to identify and validate vulnerabilities
- Leading project kickoffs and closing meetings, communicating findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Analyzing attack paths, prioritizing findings by risk and business impact, and developing proof-of-concept exploits to demonstrate real-world exposure
- Documenting results in detailed reports with actionable remediation guidance, using industry-standard tools while continuously expanding my offensive security expertise
